Tourist Guide of the Day - Malaysia Guide Grace Leong

Who is this tourist guide?
Grace Leong, a tourist guide in Sabah, Malaysia.

What does this tourist guide do?
I am a Blue Badge Guide and has been guiding for 19 years. My passion for travelling and sharing with others about Sabah's wonderful and beautiful eco-nature mountains and beaches as well as its colorful and diverse 32 over ethnic groups landed me in becoming a tourist guide since 1989 (there were only less than 80 guides then) and has never look back.

My guests who include normal tourists to very high profile personnel VVIPS such as Ministers, Filming Crews, CEOS have always commented that I have the gift of making stories of people, places and even animals come alive and could make a boring place become interesting which is not surprisingly as tour guiding apart from being my beloved profession, is also my hobby! With my years of experience in guiding and in management, I am also now a Trainer with Tourism Malaysia for their Mesra Malaysia and Eco Host programs, training tourist guides and frontliners in the tourism industry. I am also the founder of the KK Heritage Walk.

My motto in striving for excellence service is:Do To Others What You Want Others To Do To You !Thus, presenting surprising souvenir to my guests is just part of my service. Please contact me on OurExplorer.

Tourist Guide of the Day - Jerusalem Tour Guide Dina

Who is this tour guide?
Dina Horn, a tour guide in Jerusalem, Israel.

What does this tour guide do?
Shalom!

My name is Dina Horn, For many years I have been dedicated to guide and assist travelers in Israel. During my time as a tour guide I have had the privilege to travel and share experiences with many wonderful people throughout this exciting country.

As you enjoy your comprehensive tour and observing the views, remember the wonder that is the State of Israel, established in 1948 has transformed in just 60 years from being a arid and neglected place to one of the most fruitful and progressive western societies in the world.

Traveling in Israel is different than a trip anywhere else in the world. In your journey to Israel you’ll discover the connection between seemed sites and ancient written history or biblical stories. As home to the most developed archeology branch, you will have complete access to the revival of events from the Bible at many of the active excavation sites all over the country.

Having the sun all year, you may choose to enjoy beaches in Israel in four bodies of water: Dead Sea, Mediterranean, Sea of Galilee, and the Red Sea.

Traveling with me will expose you to the friendly and fun atmosphere. Joining my tours means beside the knowledgeable dip explanations, to reveal the humanity and great hospitality of the people in Israel or in Tel Aviv.

Israel is a mosaic of many cultural and ethnic groups. As a part of cultural experience we will meet with a few of those such as Kibutz members, Druze family and more.

There is no doubt, that choosing the correct guide is crucial in every tour. I invite you to come and explore the Holy Land...feel its history...see its varied ethnic communities...taste their rich flavors...float on the water of the dead sea...enjoy its natural wonders and... Take part in all the attractions that Israel offers.

I promise to show you the magic of this exotic land not only fulfill your expectations as a tourist, but to link your heart, mind and soul to the land of Israel.

With me you have the option to choose exceptional customized private tours of the Land of Israel with your own expert tour guide.

I believe that you should have a guide who doesn’t limit to provide you with the general details of the places you visit, but that also enhances your personal experience as well as your own perspective of this land.

Client Testimonial
"Amy has been a great tour guide and has exceeded expectations. Her English is solid, she is very friendly, and she is knowledgeable about the history of the various temples that we visited as well as Bangkok in general. If you have a good sense of humor then you will be pleased as she is also very funny and witty, which is great for us because we like to laugh and have a good time. I would highly recommend Amy and I plan to use her as my tour guide when I return to Thailand in the future." --Chad Lyon

Client Testimonals - OurExplorer Tourist Guides

It's always great to hear feedback from clients. And even greater is when testimonials are received. Just to share some here. Thanks for your feedback and we are listening...

"This was our first vacation out of the U.S. and we were a little nervous about leaving the tour group and going out on our own (also, a little nervous about hiring someone off the internet). We were able to see about five or six additional sites that the group didn’t see, including the Luxor Museum and the Tombs of the Nobles which were two of my favorite places. The price to hire him was about the same as the rate to go with the group (with the exception of all the extra tickets for the additional sites) so it was really a bargain. Thanks for helping with our trip and a lifetime of great memories!"--Gerald Cook, USA.

Tourist Guide of the Day - Pascual Kunchicuy

Who is this guide?
Pascual Kunchicuy, a
tourist guide in Puyo, Ecuadorian Amazon.

What does this guide do?
We are an indigenous tribe in the Ecuadorian Amazon that decided to welcome ecotourists in order to protect our territory. We offer a personal adventure that you will never forget: the Ikiam Expedition (Ikiam means forest in our language, Shiwiar Chicham). You will discover the incredible biodiversity of our jungle and share unforgettable time with us in the heart of the Amazon, while helping us to preserve our home.

We are struggling to protect our threatened territory from oil companies. Ecotourism through its valuable revenues and foreign support will help us to legalize our territory without compromising our culture or our forest. Help us to preserve our dignity and way of life.
